Job Description

BITSoM - BITS School of Management is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Admissions and Outreach Director. This leadership position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract high-quality students to our flagship 2-year MBA program.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in higher education, preferably in admissions or outreach roles. A postgraduate degree from a reputable institution is desirable.

Salary: ₹35 lakhs per annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Outreach and Admissions Planning: Collaborate with the Head of Admissions and Outreach to develop and implement outreach and admissions plans that meet desired goals.
  • Application Processing: Evaluate and process admission applications in accordance with school policies and guidelines.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of applications, acceptance offers, rejections, and withdrawals.
  • Interview Coordination: Organize admissions interviews by coordinating with applicants and school officials.
  • Resource Person: Serve as a resource person for applicants regarding admissions procedures, eligibility requirements, and programs offered.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in higher education, preferably in admissions or outreach roles.
  • Degree: Postgraduate degree from a reputable institution.
  • Skills: Understanding of Indian Higher Education landscape and related policies, communication, influence, and negotiation skills, individual and group presentation skills, lead and sales funnel management, strategy development, execution, passion for work, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to learning.
