Job Title

**Credit Risk Manager- Personal Loan**:

  • Strategic Planning and Policy Development: Formulate, implement, and monitor credit policy frameworks for the Personal Loan product, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and risk management strategies.
  • Portfolio Management: Analyze portfolio triggers, risk levels, NPA/write-off trends, and asset quality; identify high-performing and underperforming segments to optimize risk exposure.
  • Credit Monitoring and Mitigation: Establish proactive monitoring mechanisms to detect potential risks, leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Provide guidance and clarification on policy parameters to stakeholders, promoting consistent adherence and driving process efficiency through digitalization and tech-led innovations.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, risk management systems, operational risk protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Market Intelligence and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with peers and stakeholders to develop segment-specific norms and gather market intelligence on competitor products and trends.
  • Process Improvement: Support system and data enhancements for improved process quality and data-driven decision-making, conducting periodic health councils, management reviews, and disseminating risk updates or newsletters.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with internal audit, RCSA, and regulatory observations, initiating improvements accordingly.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS and present portfolio performance and insights to senior management, utilizing data analytics to identify credit trends and customer behaviors.
  • Structured Transactions and Product Structuring: Possess working knowledge of structured transactions, including Lease Rental Discounting (LRD), and collaborate with Data Science and Technology teams to automate credit decisioning and enhance system-based underwriting.
Key Requirements
  • Proficiency in credit policy development, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in portfolio analysis and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Working knowledge of structured transactions, including Lease Rental Discounting (LRD).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, driving process efficiency and innovation through digitalization and tech-led initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
