Job Overview:

About the Role:

This position involves various trade support activities across the Trade Lifecycle, including Trade Confirmation matching, Trade Pre-Settlements support, Front office to back-office reconciliation of trade positions, report generation, and settlements of cash flows from trading events.

We are looking for a skilled professional who can handle operations of Syndicated Loans and Corporate action setup and operations. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing other capital market operational tasks beyond Trade Lifecycle support, including Reference Data support and Regulatory reporting (Swaps Data Repository, SDR, Know Your Customer (KYC), various front-office and back-office reconciliations).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Identify and escalate risks, promptly report outstanding issues to clients.
  • Trade Support: Perform Trade Confirmation matching, Trade Pre-Settlements support, and Front office to back-office reconciliation of trade positions.
  • Cash Flow Settlement: Settle cash flows from trading events, such as Interest or Premium.
  • Loan Operations: Handle operations of Syndicated Loans.
  • Corporate Action Setup: Manage Corporate action setup and operations.
  • Capital Market Operations: Manage other capital market operational tasks beyond Trade Lifecycle support.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Provide Reference Data support and perform Regulatory reporting (Swaps Data Repository, SDR, Know Your Customer (KYC), various front-office and back-office reconciliations).

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree (B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA) / Masters Degree (M.Com, MBA, PGDM).
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in investment banking operations involving projects, people, process, and client management.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of finance, trade lifecycle, investment banking, and derivatives; strong logical and quantitative abilities to derive insights from data; excellent time management skills and ability to resolve issues promptly.

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial Products: Knowledge of Equity Securities and Derivatives, Interest Rates Swaps, FX Spot, Options, Futures, Credit Derivatives Swaps, Commodities Derivatives, and Fixed Income products.

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this position.
