Job Title: Head of Mining Comminution Sales

The role of Head of Mining Comminution Sales is a critical position that requires a seasoned professional to lead our ambition to grow the market of our Enduron High Pressure Grinding Rolls in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the marketing, sales, and strategy efforts for Enduron HPGR and other Mining Comminution Products, maintaining multilevel relations with customers in the mining and mineral processing industries.
  • Analyze market trends and potential for HPGR applications, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Propose and initiate new business activities in conjunction with the Sales team, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Oversee the quote process, working closely with Applications Engineers, Product Managers, and Process Specialists to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  • Play a key role in the Sales process and contract negotiations, serving as the primary contact between customers and the Commercial team in India and overseas.
  • Build and maintain relationships with management-level contacts at engineering companies, contractors, end-users, and owners in the mining and mineral processing industry.
  • Analyze competitor developments and implement strategies to safeguard or increase the Enduron HPGR market share.
  • Liaise regularly with management and staff at Weir Minerals India, leveraging the Sales network to drive business growth and development.
  • Translate customer inquiries into sellable Enduron HPGR technology solutions, working closely with the Application Engineers, Product Managers, Process Specialists, and Sales team.
  • Provide regular reporting, including call reports, CRM updates, market plans, and a personal business plan, to ensure accurate and timely information is available to management.
  • Advise management on macro-environmental factors affecting the mining sector, providing strategic insights to inform investment and operating decisions.
  • Support the route to market, identifying targeted markets, market positioning, and other marketing management strategies to acquire new customers and grow the market share.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mining.
  • Industry insider with 15+ years of commercial track record in high-quality technical capital goods.
  • Strong communication skills (English), verbal and in writing.
  • Willingness to travel intensively in the territory.
