Job Overview:
As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for achieving annual sales targets in the region and expanding sales organizations according to strategic plans.
You will identify opportunities where BDP's products and services can add value and drive efficiency in customers' supply chain demands.
The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience in sales and business development, with expertise in team handling and managing a particular region in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets of the region and accounts.
- Develop new regional markets and expand sales organizations according to strategic plans.
- Identify opportunities where BDP's products and services can add value and drive efficiency in customers' supply chain demands.
- Understand category-vertical and product-specific landscapes and trends, achieving minimum new sales ROI target of 4x of overall sales cost.
- Buid and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through effective communication and presentations.
- Sell all product lines across verticals, leveraging in-house strengths like Customs clearance, Contract Logistics, Port+ Solutions, CFS, Trade compliance, LLP, Multimodal solutions, and Surface transport.
- Present monthly regional dashboard of new wins, opportunities, P&L, and key highlights to management.
- Ensure all sales opportunities, wins, and events are updated in the salesforce tool and monitor team's sales opportunities, win/lost ratio.
- Adhere to companies FCPA policies and guidelines while onboarding new businesses, ensuring compliance with government norms and industry policies.
- Oversee the need, development, and implementation of various modules effectively at the regional level and plan execution of volumes with focus on individual productivity and capacity monitoring.
- Maintain high levels of quality and service, meeting client goals and expectations, and tasks associated with sales and business development.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Ensure service measures meet specified Turn Around Time (TAT).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of 8-10 Managers/Senior Managers, with a total number of employees supervised including those directly supervised and those supervised through subordinate supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Graduation/post-graduation in any discipline with full-time 2 years MBA or equivalent in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
- Incumbent with post-graduation in Supply & Chain Management disciplines shall be preferred.
- 15 plus years of experience in Sales and Business Development in Logistic Industry, with exposure to team handling and managing a particular region of any part of India.
- Demonstrate ability to successfully process all work types and specialties for any PSA BDP Accounts.
