The Role

You will be responsible for configuring Workday systems using varied skillsets.

Clients will rely on your expertise to coach and analyze work for new employees, ensuring seamless project integration.

Your duties include meeting with clients to understand their needs and working collaboratively with other colleagues to design and test systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Articulate business problems and develop actionable recommendations to drive stakeholder engagement and deliver results.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, adapting your style to meet the needs of each client.
  • Obtain product certification to guide financial teams in implementing optimal solutions.
  • Leverage your product knowledge to create tailored solution designs that help customers achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from various geographies and be open to seeking support and offering assistance when required.
  • Deliver scoped work products, identify potential risks and issues, and plan workload accordingly.
  • Regularly communicate with project managers about configuration changes, schedules, and status updates.
  • Assist peers by reviewing their deliverables and providing feedback as needed.
  • Execute unit tests to verify changes made during requirements implementation.
  • Debug and resolve any testing-related issues that arise.
  • Document changes accurately to benefit customers.
  • Maintain adherence to project processes as defined by project managers.
  • Enable clients to develop their skills and knowledge to manage their own solutions effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's degree in related fields is advantageous.
  • Preferably certified in the Workday platform.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work extended hours if necessary.
  • Possess learning agility to pick up new domains and work on them as required by the business.
  • Understand the software development lifecycle.
Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Certification in Workday Fin is preferred; certification in other modules is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Workday is beneficial.
