About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Workday Expenses Expert. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting and enhancing Workday's Expense Module.

As a key member of our finance and HR teams, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on Workday best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and improve processes, and leading Workday-enabled finance Expenses workstreams to design, configure, test and deploy business processes and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development, including business process configuration, integrations, data transmission (EIB), testing and troubleshooting primarily in the Expense Module.
  • Ensure accurate data and seamless enhancements of new Workday features/functionality.
  • Offer subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and collaborate with COEs to identify pain points, prioritize requirements and improve processes.
  • Lead Workday-enabled finance Expenses workstreams to design, configure, test and deploy leading practice-based business processes and solutions.
  • Be the primary point of contact for data gathering, testing and communication with key stakeholders and internal Business Systems teams.
  • Perform tasks such as understanding business requirements, configuring the Workday solution, demonstrating configurations through testing systems and assisting businesses in testing Workday solutions.
  • Develop hands-on training to cross-functional teams to broaden internal knowledge of Workday configuration.
  • Act as a proactive interface between business partner groups and the Workday team to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday implementations.
  • Build reports to support both domestically and internationally for various areas of the Workday product.
  • Ability to problem solve and propose multiple solutions for business requirements within Workday.
  • Manage Workday upgrades and implement new and revised functionality within Workday.
  • Partner with HR teams to analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions within the Workday ecosystem.
  • Optimize business processes by enhancing workflows, automating manual tasks and providing actionable insights through data reporting and analytics.
  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documented business requirements for requested changes, enhancements or projects; accountable for articulating functional processes from beginning to end and providing thought leadership on functionality and design.
