Key Position Summary

We are currently seeking a seasoned Sourcing Specialist to lead our Sourcing & Supply Chain team in achieving strategic objectives and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sourcing & Supply Chain team in achieving strategic objectives and driving operational excellence.
  • Develop short-term and long-term cost-effective sourcing and supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and develop new suppliers for precision-machined components, leveraging industry relationships and market knowledge.
  • Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing and supplier development.
  • Manage procurement of engineering components and imported and locally sourced materials.
  • Oversee supplier development, vendor negotiations, and warranty claims management to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services at optimum cost, quality, and timelines.
  • Provide expertise and advisory support for vendor development for new and existing projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong buyer-seller and stakeholder relationships to drive collaboration and mutual benefit.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • 18–25 years of core supply chain management experience, with minimum 10+ years heading complete Sourcing & Supplier Development function.
  • Strong background in tool room or machine-building industry, with proven track record of success.
