Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our industrial bakery factory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, inventory control, and Lean/CI tools.

  • Develop and implement effective production planning, scheduling, and on-time execution strategies across multiple shifts.
  • Drive efficiency, yield, and OEE through Lean methods, reducing waste and downtime.
  • Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), recipes, and specifications, resolving floor issues quickly.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to plan RM/PM requirements and maintain optimal inventories.
  • Oversee manpower allocation, rosters, and overtime, partnering with HR on hiring and staffing.
  • Lead factory trials and scale-up for new products from pilot to full production.
  • Maintain FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, hygiene, and safety compliance at all times.
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as volume, OEE, yield, waste, and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing production teams.
  • Bakery/Pastry Chef, Food Technology, or Engineering background preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in production/plant leadership within bread/bakery/confectionery.
  • Proven multi-shift management and supervisor leadership experience.
  • Deep knowledge of bakery processes, equipment, and ingredients.
  • Strong command of production planning, inventory control, and Lean/CI tools.
  • Working knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, and related food-safety protocols.
