Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end design thinking processes to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes using Figma to visualize and test designs.
  • Execute comprehensive user research and usability testing to ensure designs are effective and engaging.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on design handoffs and implementation quality assurance to ensure seamless integration.
  • Partner with product and business teams to align design solutions with technical constraints and business objectives.
  • Build scalable design systems with component libraries and design tokens to streamline the design process.

Essential Skills & Expertise:

  • Expert proficiency in Figma and design thinking methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • 5+ years applying design principles and inclusive design practices to create user-centered designs.
  • Deep understanding of responsive design and mobile UX best practices to ensure seamless experiences across devices.
  • Passion for staying current with design trends and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for developer collaboration to facilitate effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in product design roles in high-growth startups or established tech companies to bring valuable experience to the team.
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design case studies with measurable business impact to showcase design effectiveness.
  • Optional Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field to provide a solid foundation in design principles.
  • Background in SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or consumer-facing digital products to leverage industry expertise.
