Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
  • Create and implement a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize research projects and innovation initiatives.
  • Develop compelling business cases for new product innovations and improvements.

  1. R&D Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the R&D team.
  • Oversee new product development, formulation improvements, prototyping, and testing.
  • Monitor R&D budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
  • Evaluate intellectual property strategy to ensure alignment with research outputs.

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with production, quality assurance, procurement, and marketing teams to ensure product readiness and market fit.
  • Translate R&D outcomes into commercially viable offerings.
  • Facilitate technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing.

  1. Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Stay up-to-date with scientific, technological, and market trends.
  • Ensure documentation, certification, and audit-readiness of R&D processes.
  • Verify compliance with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
