Industrial Design Professional

This role provides an opportunity to participate in product design development from concept to prototyping and production.

You will collaborate with designers and engineers to refine product designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new product concepts and refine design ideas through sketching.
  • Create 3D CAD models using software like Autodesk Fusion 360 or SolidWorks.
  • Generate high-quality renders to visualize product aesthetics and functionality.
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure designs are manufacturable.
  • Assist in prototyping and testing to validate design concepts.
  • Conduct research on materials, ergonomics, and design trends to enhance product innovation.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).
  • Strong sketching and visualization skills.
  • Basic knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with design tools like Fusion or Keyshot.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (3D printing, metal prototyping, etc.).
  • Passion for problem-solving and customer-centric design.
