Job Description:
- As a Strategic Business Development Professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for developing and executing capture strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify potential clients and develop compelling proposals that meet client needs.
- Market analysis and evaluation to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.
- Review and qualification of RFIs and RFPs to drive proposal development.
- Development of written proposals through collaborative concept development, information gathering, writing, and final submission.
- Maintenance of reference databases for technical, management, and past performance.
- Development of compliant and compelling content leveraging industry expertise.
- Conducting after-action reviews for all contracts to document lessons learned and inform future capture strategies.
Experience:
- Proven experience in business development and capture management for Federal or State procurements.
- Successful track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
- Excellent writing skills, with ability to craft clear, logical, and persuasive documents.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with understanding of cost and financial considerations.
- Knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications).
Skills:
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
- Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
