Our team is seeking a seasoned Vendor Strategist to join our ranks. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering strategies that drive business growth for our vendors.

Job Description:

In this role, you will work closely with internal teams to optimize business performance for our key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com. You will conceive, create, and analyze data to grow traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue for our vendors. Additionally, you will investigate strategic and operational aspects of their business with Amazon, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

You will also partner with our Retail (AVS) Team to manage vendor relationships, championing the needs of our vendors at Amazon. Your primary goal will be to build strong communication channels, set clear expectations, and provide regular status updates to ensure successful growth plans for our vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure success based on the performance of internal teams and the impact of vendors on creating an exceptional customer experience.
  • Work with internal teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience.
  • Conduct deep analysis on handled issues for vendors and develop recommendations and action plans to improve vendor experience.
  • Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps, and execution.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with key vendor partners.
  • Support launches of new programs and features.
  • Conduct regular WBRs and MBRs with vendors to highlight business metric performance and build action plans.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in vendor/account/catalog management, buying/sourcing/sales, product management, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast learning abilities and the capacity to handle ambiguity.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including array and statistical formulas.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and scripts.
