Job Description:

This role requires a hands-on professional to support our bespoke applications, taking ownership of assigned tasks and collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to user queries and service requests in ServiceDesk Plus, ensuring timely resolution within SLA targets.
  • Develop and maintain deep functional knowledge of our trading application, serving as a subject matter expert for users and internal stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver training initiatives to enhance user understanding and adoption of the system, monitoring progress and evaluating effectiveness.
  • Identify knowledge gaps among users and recommend targeted education programs to improve self-sufficiency and reduce support queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update support guides, knowledge articles, and training materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with bespoke business applications and documenting technical processes, with the ability to become a subject matter expert quickly.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and determine root causes of recurring application issues.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceDesk Plus, ServiceNow (SNOW), or Zendesk, and logical thinking skills to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Some knowledge of SQL, particularly for querying and troubleshooting data-related issues, is beneficial but not required.
