Technical Support Specialist

Job Overview

This is a key role for an individual to provide technical support and configuration across various systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and ensuring seamless system operation.

Mandatory Skills

  • Experience with vendor applications such as Smartstream Cash Management (CMS) ver 4 is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to converse with various teams are crucial.
  • Familiarity with Change Requests, CABs, and weekend rollout of code changes is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Control M application, jobs creation, administration, alerting, file move, file watchers, json, etc. is required.
  • Oracle 19 SQL scripting and database concepts, Linux shell scripting, and JBoss 8 server knowledge are essential.
  • Ability to package up and manage configuration/code changes into releases and apply to production is critical.
  • JMS Queue processing and principles, GitHub software management, and Automated deployment via CI/CD pipeline are also necessary.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, strong analytical skills, and ability to organize and prioritize workload are desirable.
  • Strong decision-making skills, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are also highly valued.
