Job Title: Application Support Specialist

This position is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to a range of Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with webforms, reports development, vulnerability remediation, and Hyperion business rules and calculation scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting skills for complex software applications.
  • Develop and maintain webforms and reports using Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase tools.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities and work with vendors to implement security patches.
  • Create complex Hyperion business rules and calculation scripts.
  • Extract, load, and update metadata for Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance Smartview ad-hoc reports.
  • Design and develop Drill-through reports.
  • Translate business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs.
  • Perform highly complex software development activities requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide production system problem resolution and support.
  • Interact effectively with all levels of management and teams.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of webforms and reports development.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation and vendor collaboration.
  • Strong Hyperion business rules and calculation script development skills.
  • Metadata extraction, loading, and updating expertise.
  • Smartview ad-hoc report building and enhancement skills.
  • Drill-through report design and development abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Production system problem resolution and support skills.
  • Unix, Linux, Informatica, and/or OBIEE experience is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
