Plant and Machinery Specialist

The ideal candidate will excel in this role by demonstrating both knowledge and technical expertise about the industry. They will be a key person in strategic decision-making, collaborating with multiple teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Erect, dismantle, maintain, and operate tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms, etc.
  • Develop methodology for equipment erection, operation, and checklist preparation.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and optimize costs, source plant & machinery operators, mechanics, etc.
  • Generate MIS reports for Mechanical Heads at HO/Project In-charge.
  • Maintain site records of equipment, including logbooks, preventive maintenance records, and equipment upkeep.
  • Budget estimates for spares and running expenses for each machine, monitor monthly performance.
  • Train personnel on safe equipment use, repairs, and servicing procedures, along with record-keeping best practices.
  • Optimize P&M usage to match rated productivity output.
  • Minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize availability at site.
  • Schedule regular maintenance for equipment, vehicles, and machinery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
