Job Title Junior Service Engineer Heavy Earth Moving Machinery EquipmentLocation Rajasthan Underground Mines HZL HCL Etc Department Service Maintenance Reports To Service Manager Senior EngineerJob Overview The Junior Service Engineer Service Engineer Crew will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance repair and servicing of heavy earth-moving machinery and equipment This role requires strong technical knowledge a proactive approach and the ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment The engineer will work closely with the senior engineering team to troubleshoot issues perform routine inspections and ensure equipment is operational at all times Key Responsibilities Maintenance Repairs Assist in the maintenance troubleshooting and repair of heavy earth-moving machinery such as excavators bulldozers cranes loaders etc Diagnostic Work Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and resolve issues Routine Inspections Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance Documentation Maintain accurate records of service and repair work including parts used and work completed Spare Parts Management Assist in identifying spare parts requirements and ensure timely procurement to minimize machine downtime On-Site Support Provide on-site service and support for machinery including remote project sites Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during service and repair operations Customer Interaction Support in dealing with customer queries complaints and requirements related to machinery maintenance and repair Training Participate in on-the-job training and development programs to stay updated with the latest technologies and tools used in machinery servicing Key Skills Competencies Technical Knowledge Basic knowledge of the mechanics hydraulics pneumatics and electrical systems of heavy machinery Problem-Solving Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues efficiently Attention to Detail Ensuring precision in work inspections and documentation Teamwork Ability to work collaboratively with the senior engineers and the wider team Communication Skills Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members clients and suppliers Adaptability Willingness to learn and adapt to the latest technologies and methodologies in heavy machinery servicing Physical Fitness Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job including lifting climbing and working in difficult conditions Qualifications Education Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or a related field Experience 2-4 years of experience in servicing heavy equipment internships or on-the-job training preferred Career Path This role provides opportunities for growth into positions such as Senior Service Engineer Technical Specialist or even Project Manager as experience and skills develop
