Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team. As a seasoned professional in data engineering, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust data pipelines using Azure and Databricks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure and Databricks, with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure and Databricks.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers to improve overall team productivity and technical capability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure & Databricks.
  • Strong expertise in Databricks (Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, Workflows, Databricks Asset Bundles), Azure Data Services (ADF, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL), and Python, SQL, Spark.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers to improve overall team productivity and technical capability.
