Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Audit Consultant with expertise in SSAE 21 (SOC Reporting) and other AICPA standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior IT Audit Consultants and report to the Manager, Executive Director, or CEO. On occasion, you may directly collaborate with the CEO on high-profile engagements. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in planning activities to identify client needs and service opportunities in assurance, advisory, risk, and compliance services.
• Own growth and service delivery (planning, execution, and reporting) of engagements, working closely with supervisors and clients to coordinate efforts on various projects.
• Collaborate with clients to execute engagement plans, focusing on leveraging industry insights and functional expertise to deliver greater value to clients.
• Design and execute high-quality, integrated audit procedures.
• Contribute towards building audit methodology, working paper guidelines, quality review standards, and communication protocols. Develop audit programs and procedures to establish efficient audit processes.
• Create and implement audit strategies related to evaluating significant applications relevant to financial audits.
• Prepare and communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to client leadership, including ongoing insights on potential corrective action plans.
• Identify potential clients and generate leads for our organization.
• Maintain adherence to all quality standards and processes, including independence requirements, when acquiring clients, opportunities, and submitting proposal and contract documents.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and minimum two years of related work experience, or a graduate degree and approximately one to two years of related work experience.
• A degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience as an auditor or risk advisor for a CA firm, professional services firm, or financial services company, or comparable experience as an advisor to a financial services company.
• Experience with at least two types of engagements: Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting, internal audit risk assessment, financial statement audits/SOX/internal controls, PCI and/or HITRUST Assessments, and/or application security and control reviews.
