Job Title: Payroll Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Expert to join our team. As a Payroll Expert, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing.

  • Collect and process timesheet data and payroll information.
  • Enter data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
  • Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions and commissions.
  • Prepare and process paychecks and cash deposits.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with income tax regulations and lodge tax payments on time.
  • Calculate termination payments, including annual leave, long service leave and redundancy payments.
  • Filing e-TDS returns and form no. 16.
  • Provide periodic payroll reports for review by management.
  • Handle client queries via phone and email.
  • Oversee year-end activities.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written).

Essential Competencies:

  • Strong documentation and Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software.
  • Reliability and honesty.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Knowledge of multi-country payroll and taxation.

The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
