Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Commis to join our culinary team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of service and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and quantity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, adhering to standard policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and create a strong commitment to a team atmosphere, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge, including facilities and surrounding areas.
  • Enhance and increase quality performance by developing your professional progress.
  • Prepare fish, meat, vegetables, sauces, and stocks, as well as grill, pan-fry, stew, braise, steam, and roast dishes.
  • Ensure that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions and rotation is managed according to company standards.
  • Prepare mise-en-place freshly and on time, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and quantity.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, with a minimum of one year of experience in the same role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team.
