Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, scripting/programming, monitoring, and cost optimization with a passion for improving efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms
  • Track daily/weekly usage, spending patterns, and billing reports; highlight anomalies and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain scripts/automation (Python, Bash, or similar) for cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency enhancements
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to right-size compute, storage, and database resources
  • Identify and implement reserved instances, savings plans, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies to reduce spend
  • Leverage native tools like AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch, GCP Billing, as well as third-party monitoring platforms

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP services (EC2, S3, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Experience in cloud cost monitoring & optimization
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.)
  • Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation
  • Prior experience in cost analysis and optimization for enterprise workloads
