Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services.

  • Design and implement distributed storage systems including Ceph, ZFS, and NFS for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
  • Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ceph, ZFS, and NFS storage technologies, as well as proficiency in Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.

This role involves working with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of cloud projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-call Rotation and Incident Response
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering
