Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable REST/GraphQL APIs for our frontend editor and client apps.

You will also be working on architecting and managing multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure with secure authentication, billing, and user/project management.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Node.js / TypeScript (or Python/Go, if experienced in SaaS) and hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable REST/GraphQL APIs for our frontend editor and client apps.
  • Architect and manage multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure with secure authentication, billing, and user/project management.
  • Implement asset management pipelines (upload, process, store, deliver images, videos, HTML5 bundles) with CDN integration.
  • Set up role-based access control (RBAC) and permissions for teams/agencies using the platform.
  • Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, etc.) for subscription management.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of the backend services.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, game engineers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Essential Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript (or Python/Go, if experienced in SaaS).
  • Experience with SaaS product architecture: authentication (OAuth/JWT), multi-tenant databases, subscription models.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of API security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience handling file uploads, storage systems (S3/GCS), CDN integration.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging).
  • Familiarity with payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Prior experience building creative SaaS tools (design platforms, editors, adtech, game engines).
  • Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time collaboration.
  • Experience with serverless architecture (Lambda/Cloud Functions).
  • Familiarity with analytics pipelines for tracking engagement, conversion, and ad performance.
