Backend Developer Leader Opportunity

Live Connections is seeking a Backend Developer to lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable Python-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve scalability, security, and performance standards across all development efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontends and backend services.
  • Liaise with stakeholders from banking operations, risk, and compliance to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Mentor and manage a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Drive agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Requirements:

  • 15+yrs of total experience with last 5-6yrs into advanced Python development and design patterns.
  • Strong experience in MongoDB, Redis, FAST API, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of React Framework and frontend-backend integration.
  • Familiarity with Impala, Autosys, and distributed systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing engineering teams.
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is mandatory.
