  • Design and implement backend services and APIs that integrate seamlessly with SQL databases.">
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.">
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring scalability, security, and data integrity.">
  • Apply best practices in data modelling, indexing, and performance tuning.">
  • Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning.">

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in backend development and SQL databases.">
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server (or equivalent relational databases).">
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and database migration/ETL processes.">
  • Proficiency in a backend programming language such as C#, Python, Java, or Node.js.">
  • Experience with API development and integration.">
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization principles.">
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services (Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, SQL Database, etc.) is a plus.">
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.">
