We are seeking a skilled and accomplished backend leader to spearhead technical innovation across projects.

About the Position

The successful candidate will oversee the development of scalable, secure, and maintainable systems, guiding a team of engineers and delivering high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive backend development using modern PHP frameworks like Laravel.
  • Architect robust and efficient systems.
  • Manage system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services.
  • Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery.
  • Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and effective documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP with deep expertise in Laravel.
  • Experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify.
  • Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages including PHP, Java, ReactJS, Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and flexibility to work in a small company environment.
