Backend Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Backend Engineer to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build meaningful products and drive real-world impact at scale.

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software systems.

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure software systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality code by following best practices and testing methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development using JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and ability to write optimized SQL queries.
  • Experience with Kafka, Redis, and Docker containers.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as SQS, SES, MSK, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.
  • Basic proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with Retool or other low-code/internal tooling platforms.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, JIRA, secret management, or Datadog (or similar observability tools).
