Job Title: Business Development Manager

The role of a Capture Manager is pivotal in driving business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities. This includes public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive capture strategies to drive business success, including teaming, pricing, and proposal development.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential opportunities and evaluate their feasibility.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Review and qualify RFIs and RFPs, driving the proposal process forward while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
  • Lead the development of written proposals by conceptualizing ideas, gathering information through interview techniques, writing compelling drafts, and submitting high-quality final submissions.
  • Maintain accurate reference databases for technical, management, and past performance, ensuring easy access to critical information.
  • Develop and leverage industry knowledge to create compliant and compelling content that drives results.
  • Conduct thorough after-action reviews for all contracts, documenting lessons learned and implementing necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategies, and actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in capture-related activities for Federal or State procurements.
  • Track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector, with a strong emphasis on proposal development and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents that drive results.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and understanding of cost and financials, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with GSA and other Federal Schedules, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field, such as English, Journalism, or Communications.
