Job Title: Construction Contracts Manager

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of cost management principles.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation from inception to completion for all claim-related matters.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Employer's requirements based on the intent for package-wise Conditions of Contract and the project schedule agreed in the contract.
  • Identify changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost, and ensure timely notification to the employer for approval.
  • Track submitted claims letters individually and prepare contractual justification referencing contractual conditions and supporting documents.
  • Prepare contractual replies/requests for claim approval.
  • Prepare Claim documents.
  • Prepare detailed claim statements for submission to DAAB.
  • Presentation of claims from start to present status to Advocates and take dispute resolution to the next level.
  • Update claim status to RO/HO.
  • Coordinate with the project team to obtain required details and provide necessary inputs.
  • Prepare Comprehensive EOT applications substantiating with contemporary records and references.
  • Ensure all claims are substantiated with contract entitlements in accordance with Conditions of Clause.
  • Provide required details and input to DAAB committees and Advocates for arbitration until issues are resolved.
  • Meet deadlines without delay and work under pressure.
  • Collaborate with reporting managers and prepare additional reports as directed.

Candidates should have 10-20 years of experience in Civil Engineering or similar certification courses, with knowledge of standard method of measurements, sound contracts administration, and commercial management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration of construction contracts. This includes reviewing and analyzing contracts, identifying areas of risk, and developing strategies to mitigate them. The candidate must have excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Additionally, they must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
