We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the costs associated with specialized systems within construction projects. This will involve studying project scope, validating technical specifications, and optimizing specifications without deviating from client requirements.

You will also be responsible for presenting BOQs and solutions to management, checking RA bills and final bills, and preparing amendments. Additionally, you will validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrices, submit different budget options considering alternative solutions, and explore new products and take them to approvals.

Key skills required for this role include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detailed understanding of systems and construction processes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in relevant software.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  3. Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including negotiations, amendments, and disputes resolution.
  4. Project Coordination: Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
  5. Cost Control: Implement effective cost control measures to minimize project costs and maximize returns.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including written and verbal reports.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends, making informed decisions about project costs and resource allocation.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven experience in construction cost management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Relevant Software Skills: Proficiency in software applications such as MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
