Overview

The role of a BIM Modeller MEP is pivotal in ensuring the creation of detailed models for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services across various construction projects. This position requires an individual with extensive knowledge in developing comprehensive models from drawings, sketches, and calculations.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing detailed Revit models and construction documentation for MEP, LV, Fire Fighting, PHE services throughout all phases of construction for diverse architecture, interior, and landscape design schemes.
  • Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers to comprehend design intent and project requirements.
  • Providing technical support to the project team by utilizing BIM authoring tools proficiently.
  • Establishing linked models and coordinating models across disciplines effectively.
  • Ensuring adherence to established BIM execution plans and maintaining project-specific documentation while guaranteeing that models adhere to predefined standards and objectives.
  • Creating discipline-specific BIM system families for projects as required.
  • Generating accurate floor plans, sections, details, schedules, and quantity take-offs promptly.
  • Maintaining coordinated and clash-free models through coordination with the design team.
  • Verifying compliance of all models with project design intent, relevant building codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Organizing and maintaining Revit project files, libraries, and standards efficiently.
  • Assisting in the review of shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents accurately.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest software updates, industry trends, and best practices within the field.
