Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establishing north-star and feature-level metrics for our ranking, interview analytics, and payouts systems.
  • Designing and Running Experiments: Conducting A/B tests and quasi-experiments, and turning results into actionable product decisions within the same week.
  • Building Data Models and Dashboards: Creating source-of-truth dashboards and lightweight data models to enable teams to self-serve answers.
  • Instrumenting Events and Improving Data Quality: Collaborating with engineers to improve data quality and latency from ingestion to insight.
  • Prototyping Machine Learning Models: Developing quick models (from baselines to gradient boosting) to enhance matching and scoring capabilities.
  • Evaluating Large Language Model (LLM) Agents: Designing rubrics, human-in-the-loop studies, and guardrail canaries to assess LLM-powered agents.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Solid Fundamentals: Strong statistics, SQL, and Python skills, along with a portfolio of projects you're proud to showcase.
  • Frequent Iteration: Ability to frame questions, test hypotheses, and ship results in days, while prioritizing clarity of communication and statistical significance.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and leadership, translating analysis into actionable insights.
