Job Title: Chief Manager

The Chief Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end issuance/fulfillment of new business, focusing on WIP management and strategic initiatives to ensure seamless business continuity. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnership Development

The Chief Manager develops and maintains strategic partnerships with distribution heads, ensuring regular engagement and performance monitoring.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve performance through data-driven insights.

2. WIP Management and Clearance

The Chief Manager is responsible for managing WIP, ensuring daily traction on WIP to meet monthly targets. This includes:

  • Driving WIP clearance through hub teams.
  • Regular governance calls with HUB teams.
  • Responsible for end-to-end WIP management.

3. Data and Reporting

The Chief Manager delivers reports and analysis on various business parameters, enabling data-driven decision making. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of reports and analysis.
  • Enabling and supporting distribution with data sets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Working closely with internal departments on reports automation agenda.

4. Process Improvement and Innovation

The Chief Manager identifies opportunities for improvement and drives process innovation initiatives, focusing on ease of business and enhancing business quality measures.

5. Talent Management and Development

The Chief Manager develops team members to perform effectively and efficiently, ensuring talent retention and minimal attrition.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in Management.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience.
  • 5 years in relationship management and Banca operations management.
  • Sound Knowledge of Bancassurance or Banking Operations Model.
  • Good communication & analytical skills.
  • Strong data skills and solution centric approach.
  • Customer centric approach.
  • Process documentation and systems approach.
  • Computer skills in using databases and office management software.
