Audit Manager Job Description

The Audit Manager is responsible for driving strategic benefits in audit quality, efficiency, and value creation. The role involves working with the latest technologies and leading practices in analytics, data visualization, AI/ML, and RPA to extract, enable, analyze, and visualize data for insights throughout the audit process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with large data sets, understanding common data quality issues and cleansing techniques, to discover trends and patterns.
  • Liaising with internal business auditors, auditee teams, DWH IT teams, and external vendors to extend support to existing and future automation projects.
  • Coordinating all stages of project development, from system design to testing, training, roll-out, and post-implementation support.
  • Identifying gaps in projects post-GO-LIVE and gathering feedback from user groups to suggest improvements, ensuring high-level system adoption through user training and contact programs.
Job Requirements:

To be successful as an Audit Manager, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant data analytics experience, EDW concepts, good understanding of data mining, and programming languages like Python and Oracle SQL.
  • Hands-on experience working with visualization tools like Power BI and SAP BO.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycles, prior experience in business requirement gathering, UAT, etc.
  • Good academic record and certifications in data analytics/data science from a reputed university.
  • Background knowledge of the financial sector at large is required, with banking knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for dealing with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • An engineering degree plus MBA is preferred.
