Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and acquire suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects.
  2. Lead the end-to-end land acquisition process, including scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
  3. Build and manage relationships with local stakeholders, including landowners, agents, revenue officials, and government departments.
  4. Conduct title due diligence and ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams.
  5. Oversee Right of Way acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific policies.
  6. Ensure clear documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, and land maps.
  7. Track local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to secure cost-effective deals.
  8. Supervise a field team, overseeing land officers, surveyors, and external consultants.
  9. Resolve conflicts and address land acquisition issues related to legal or community matters.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in land acquisition, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
