Role Summary

We are seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of space-grade components and systems.

The role involves implementing quality plans, participating in design reviews, conducting audits, and ensuring traceability and configuration control of components and documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Quality Planning: Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards to maintain high-quality products.
  • Design Review Participation: Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are embedded throughout the development process.
  • Audit and Evaluation: Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Configuration Control: Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation to prevent errors and inconsistencies.
  • Risk Management: Support risk management and failure mode analysis to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
  • Familiarity with standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test benches, and environmental chambers.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with satellite subsystems (e.g., Reaction Wheel, Battery, EPS, CDH).
  • Experience with satellite Assembly & Integration QA/QC.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical quality control.
  • Exposure to cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe handling.
  • Certification/Knowledge in Six Sigma, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
