Job Description

The role of a Strategic Human Resources Manager is crucial in driving workforce planning and management initiatives.

This key HR business partner will play a pivotal role in developing effective manpower plans to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize costs.

  • Manpower Planning: Create and implement comprehensive manpower plans, aligning with strategic objectives.
  • Selection & Recruitment: Collaborate with hiring teams to source, select, and recruit top talent, ensuring timely backfilling of vacant positions.
  • Induction: Design and deliver onboarding programs that integrate new hires seamlessly into the organization.
  • Attrition Analysis: Conduct regular analysis to identify factors contributing to employee turnover and develop targeted interventions to reduce attrition rates.

To maintain compliance and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, you will:

  • Handle statutory compliances under various labor laws, including PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, Labor Welfare Fund, and Work Welfare Fund.
  • Ensure compliance of contractor or supplier contracts.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Creating timely appraisals and performance evaluations for staff and trainees, aligning with development plans and cost control targets.
  • Implementing the performance management system (PMS) to optimize workforce productivity.
  • Defining and documenting job descriptions with key areas of responsibility for unique roles, updating as per changing business requirements.
  • Managing Time Office operations, including Leave, OD, and short leaves.
  • Leaves & Attendance Management.
  • Framing Compensation Structure as per prevailing and revised compliances related to Payroll.
  • Handling queries related to salary of employees.
  • Initiating disciplinary action for habitual absenteeism.

In addition, you will provide critical support in:

  • Preparing HR & Admin department's reports for Management Committee Meetings.
  • Preparation of monthly report for internal MCM.
  • Preparation of Manpower Budget.
  • Preparation of Recruitment and Communication Budget.
  • Preparation of MTP.
  • Scheduling housekeeping management at Office & Shop floor.
  • Security Management.
  • Cost saving initiatives.
  • Taking care of guests / visitors.
  • Hotel & Taxi arrangement as per requirement of visitors.
  • Vendor Management.

You will also handle:

  • Employee grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Initiating Employee Engagement activities.
  • Coordinating and conducting exit interviews, completing all Exit formalities at HO, and processing full & final settlements of all separated employees across locations.
  • Providing support to employees for medical treatment under mediclaim policy and ESI Policy.
  • Keeping details of employee medical cards under media-claim policy.
  • Organising medical check-ups.
  • Working closely with ERP team to enhance the automation of HR processes.
  • Acting as spokesperson for all amendments, modifications, and additions in HR Automation process.
  • Internal & External Audits.
  • Documentation as per system requirement.
  • Auditee for external audits.
  • Taking countermeasure for observations / NCs.
  • Compliance to system requirement.
