Job Summary:

The Front Office Executive plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk.

This includes processing guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, and assigning rooms. Accurate accounts must be set up for each guest, and Marriott Rewards information must be entered correctly.

Rates must match market codes, and exceptions must be documented. Secure payment is required prior to issuing room keys, and billing adjustments must be verified.

Daily Tasks:
  • Process all guest check-ins
  • Verify guest identity and form of payment
  • Assign rooms and issue room keys
  • Set up accurate accounts for each guest
  • Enter Marriott Rewards information
  • Ensure rates match market codes
  • Document exceptions
  • Secure payment prior to issuing room key
  • Verify adjust billing
Responsibilities:
  • Accommodate guest requests
  • Contact appropriate staff if necessary
  • Follow up to ensure requests have been met
  • Process all payment types (vouchers, paid-outs, and charges)
  • Balance and drop receipts
  • Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift
  • Obtain manual authorizations and follow Accounting procedures
  • Notify Loss Prevention Security of any guest reports of theft
