Music Partnerships Role

As a key figure in our music partnerships strategy, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with artists and labels.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of partner managers to drive growth and success in the YouTube Music Partnerships space.
  • Represent the department at industry events, conferences, and meetings with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement country-specific strategies to enhance our partnerships and business development efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective solutions to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as business development, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • At least 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, preferably in industries like Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology.
  • Strong track record of managing agreements or partnerships and working effectively with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in music/digital content/media, and a proven track record of driving new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of technological concepts, financial models, and music copyrights, with the ability to interface with partners to solve critical problems through analysis.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi is highly desirable to support client relationship management.
