Geospatial Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Specialist to collect, analyze, and interpret geospatial data for informed decision-making.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.

  • Data Collection and Management: Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets using various data management techniques.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data.
  • ETL operations: Perform ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.
  • GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend data requirements.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience with image analysis and processing techniques.
  • Familiarity with ESRI products - ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

We also expect you to have:

  • Working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on Esri platform.
  • Mastery of RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or related fields.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
