Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Data Insights Specialist to join our esteemed team. As a key member, you will spearhead the development of cutting-edge machine learning applications that drive revolutionary, real-time large-scale software systems.

Your mission will be realized through foundational research and development in applied machine learning. With a plethora of geospatial data science use cases solved so far, such as land use and land cover classification, crop classification, change detection, route optimization, satellite image time-series classification, and more, we are now focusing on advancing next-generation machine learning applications and surpassing state-of-the-art solutions.

You will work collaboratively with product owners, applied data scientists, MLOps, geospatial experts, and platform engineers to envision solutions to real-world, ambiguous business use cases with low latency/high throughput.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy scalable, optimized ML models using PyTorch or other frameworks.
  • Conduct A/B testing and calibrate metrics to desired business outcomes.
  • Craft clear, concise reports for stakeholders with varied backgrounds.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to effective project/resource management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's/M.Phil/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Remote Sensing, or related field.
  • 1-4 years of industry experience, with a proven track record in computer vision, NLP, and ML applications.
  • Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch), programming languages (Python), and SQL.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
