Job Title: Geographic Information System Developer

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of a Geographic Information System (GIS) Developer. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GIS principles and be proficient in various GIS software applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Provide technical support for GIS mapping applications through multiple channels.
  • • Troubleshoot and resolve software, data, and functionality issues.
  • • Conduct training sessions and create user guides, FAQs, and documentation.
  • • Assist in geospatial data acquisition, processing, and integration.
  • • Configure and customize GIS applications, scripts, and workflows.
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address user needs and deliver solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • • 5+ years of experience in technical support for GIS applications or related software.
  • Skills:
  • • Strong understanding of GIS principles, spatial analysis, and mapping concepts.
  • • Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar).
  • • Familiarity with geospatial data formats (shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML) and coordinate systems.
  • • Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
