Job Overview:

This key position plays a pivotal role in the Production Planning – Calcination team, focusing on optimizing raw material blending and production planning across global operations with emphasis on cost efficiency, quality control, and AI-driven analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Blend Optimization: Develop and manage blend schedules for pet coke feedstock across different regions to achieve maximum CPC margins.
  • Inventory & Production Alignment: Track GPC inventories and CPC production rates to ensure alignment with shipment schedules and minimize costs.
  • Cost Reduction Strategies: Evaluate sourcing options and logistics to optimize costs while meeting CPC quality specifications.
  • AI & Modeling Expertise: Build and maintain business models using AI tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning and smarter decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, Technical Services, and Operations teams globally to integrate global operations for seamless production and delivery.
  • SAP & Reporting Capabilities: Handle SAP transactions and generate reports on production, inventory, and KPIs to inform strategic decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in planning/blending, preferably in carbon/metallurgical industries.
  • Strong LP modeling and analytical skills.
  • SAP and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment.
