
Strategic HR Manager

In this role, you will serve as a key conduit for information dissemination, enabling People Partners and business leaders to make informed decisions. This, in turn, will facilitate the creation of an exceptional work environment for our global team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive onboarding services to new employees, encompassing cultural and policy orientation.
- Assume responsibility for all onboardings, including asset and access-related tasks.
- Collaborate with vendors to conduct background verification processes for new hires.
- Maintain regular check-ins with new and existing employees to ensure high happiness and productivity indices.
- Partner with leaders and management to resolve people-related conflicts or concerns.
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the team, addressing queries related to policies and culture.
- Develop and implement engaging online and offline activities to maintain team enthusiasm.
- Act as the creator and guardian of communication pertinent to the People Operations team, including email templates, policies, and engagement activity announcements.
- Collaborate with leaders to draft policies and incorporate them into the company handbook, reflecting vision, mission, and values.
- Design programs to minimize attrition and maximize retention.
- Conduct exit interviews and oversee off-boarding procedures from start to finish.
- Prepare letters and emails for the team as needed.
- Plan and coordinate team offsites and workations, managing logistics end-to-end.
- Facilitate partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to strategize and execute people processes.
- Negotiate with vendors to establish and maintain end-to-end partnerships.
- Coordinate salary changes and payroll with the Finance team within established timelines.
- Review and process paperwork and contracts related to the position.
About You:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to handle sensitive personnel matters maturely.
- A high level of energy and enthusiasm for driving engagement activities.
- A natural affinity for working with people.
- Empathy and rational thinking.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in People Operations, people programs, staffing, and/or large-scale people-related roles.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and employee relations case management.
- The capacity to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on analysis.
- Effective problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- A self-starter who can work independently with minimal guidance in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with numbers, MS Office, and related tools like Fresh team, Zoho, Deel, Just Works, etc.
- Prior experience working with a remote, global team of over 250 people.
