Our organization is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Leader to spearhead our Quality and Food Safety initiatives across the production, laboratory, and documentation departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise to manage quality assurance teams and ensure adherence to international food safety standards.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for internal, customer, and third-party audits in line with BRCGS, Organic, Buyer Audits, and other relevant certifications.
  • Maintain compliance with international regulations including GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, FDA (US), EU regulations, Sedex, EcoVadis.
  • Oversee the approval and implementation of SOPs, CCPs, PRPs to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage organic certifications, transaction certificates, and maintain accurate records of mass balance and traceability.
  • Drive supplier audits, vendor compliance, and raw material quality assurance initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, recalls, and CAPA.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to minimize defects and foster a culture of food safety excellence.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality & Food Safety, preferably within the psyllium, oil seeds, or spices industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international food safety standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Organic handling experience is highly valued.
  • A degree or post-grad in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields is required.
  • Proven leadership, documentation, and audit-handling skills are essential.
