Role: Quality Assurance and Engineering Specialist

Work Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance and Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing, automation, and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute unit and functional tests using C# and Python, ensuring thorough coverage and robustness.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs, leveraging industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for test automation and API integration scripts.
  • Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and deployment processes to enhance development and testing workflows.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely feedback to improve product quality.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in C#, including object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Proven experience in developing, automating, and executing unit and functional tests.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and integration purposes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, or similar for C#; Pytest or others for Python.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), test lifecycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and writing SQL queries.
