Job Title:

Quality Assurance Director

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Quality Assurance Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of quality engineers to meet the quality goals and manage quality assessment and improvement activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team of quality engineers
  • Carrying out potential supplier assessments for qualifying potential suppliers
  • Managing advanced product quality plans for all supplied parts to ensure zero defects
  • Ensuring capacity availability at suppliers through formal run rate processes
  • Resolving quality issues in parts by guiding and reviewing with suppliers
  • Managing quality improvement initiatives to achieve zero ppm and field quality
  • Monitoring production lines and performing periodic quality control checks
  • Implementing improvements to production processes to increase overall product quality
  • Working together with project leaders to discuss solutions to quality issues
  • Satisfying customer expectations about product quality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to deal with and manage local and global suppliers
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and good problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills and experience of working in strong ERP environments
  • Knowledge of diverse commodities in the manufacturing industry
  • Analytical skills and good numerical skills
  • Understanding of statistics
  • Excellent technical skills and leadership ability
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
